Survivor Mentorship Program

This mentor program provides survivors of breast cancer the unique opportunity to become advocates for the newly-diagnosed. Our mentoring program offers one-on-one, confidential outreach and support from someone who has gone through the same journey that our newly diagnosed client is about to embark upon.

Support Groups & Systems

Though sometimes the phrase “support group” may seem a bit daunting, The Pink Ribbon Place strives to provide a warm and supportive environment which helps the men, women, and loved ones impacted by cancer. Our groups allow each individual to relate to one another in order to establish on-going relationships and support systems. Using both peer-to-peer as well as licensed group therapy, The Pink Ribbon Place currently offers the following assortment of groups:

·     Coping with Cancer: Talking with a Counselor - Cancer can be a difficult time in your life. There are so many thoughts and emotions that can occur and being able to talk with someone can help.  Take advantage of our licensed family counselor to help you through this difficult time.  our counselor is able to speak with those going through cancer and family members who are having a difficult time.  Please give us a call to schedule a session.

·     Cancer Support Group - One of the most beneficial ways to cope is being able to talk about what you are going through, but what do you do when your friends and family don't understand?  When they don't understand your struggles or are not able to relate to what you're going through? That is why we have created this support group.  Talk with survivors and others currently going through treatment.  Learn about what they have experienced and what helped them through this difficult time.  You are not alone.

·     Esperanza Para Mujeres - Means "Hope for Women".  This support group is conducted in Spanish to support women and their families who have been impacted by breast cancer.  This support group is open to everyone in the family.
