Happy Healthful Thanksgiving!

"the best thing to hold onto in life...

is each other." - audrey hepburn
Hi <<First Name>>! A several weeks ago, my husband (the king of finding all things with the potential of becoming viral on the internet) sent me a link to "The Battle We Didn't Choose." It is a breathtakingly beautiful and truly heart-breaking photographic story of newly weds and their battle and loss with breast cancer. It has had me thinking that in life, most paths that we are led down are by happenstance. It is not a choice that we conscientiously make... But perhaps that is the beauty of life, in an often cruel and twisted way, we find ourselves amongst the chaos more vulnerable than we thought we could ever be and stronger than we could have ever hoped and imagined. We find truth; we find balance-- we find each other.
The Pink Ribbon Place is happy to announce your-not-so-average of support group, but rather a gathering of very "Breast Friends" for tea. There is no kind of therapy like just being able to talk it out with your girlfriends. But what happens when they don't understand your struggles, when they can't relate to what you're going through? That is why we have created this support system of breast friends who all share the same bond and struggles with breast cancer.
Join us for this very special gathering every 3rd Thursday from 6-8PM as we bring together women from all walks of life to talk, to share, to laugh, to cry, to vent, and most of all, to celebrate everything that love and life has yet to bring. The inaugural gathering will take place this Thursday, November 14th at 6pm.
